Dr. Spencer Kalman is a physical therapist who discovered his passion for improving quality of life while working in a rehabilitation science lab as an undergraduate at George Mason University. This experience inspired him to pursue a career in physical therapy. Since graduating from DPT school in 2022, he has worked with patients managing both orthopedic and neurological conditions. Spencer is committed to meeting patients where they are and tailoring care to their individual needs. He integrates manual therapy, dry needling, and exercise to help clients restore function and enhance overall well-being.

Caitlin O’Conner is a dual board-certified family nurse practitioner dedicated to advancing community health through preventative medicine and education. She has spent over a decade in the healthcare field caring for patients from a variety of backgrounds. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, UT and served as an active-duty Army nurse until 2020, gaining invaluable experience and skills in diverse healthcare settings.

Caitlin furthered her education by earning a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Baylor University in Dallas, TX, where she honed her expertise in clinical practice and healthcare leadership. As a current Army spouse, she understands the unique challenges faced by military families and is committed to serving her community with compassion and dedication.

Her passion lies in empowering individuals through health education and preventative care, ensuring that patients have the knowledge and resources they need to lead healthier lives. She strives to help patients feel heard and understood by taking time and looking at each person as a whole.

Dr. Helen Robertson is a physical therapist, board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist, a certified strength and conditioning specialist, and is certified in dry needling. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of the Pacific in 2017 and Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she graduated with highest honors. Helen is a graduate of VOMPTI’s Orthopedic Residency program and passed her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist board examination in 2022.

In addition to treating patients, Helen enjoys teaching courses at South University in the Physical Therapist Assistant program. She believes in individualized patient care tailored to each patient’s symptoms, situations, and lifestyles. Helen values listening to her patients’ stories and conducting in-depth assessments that allow her to focus on functional interventions to decrease pain and maximize patients’ potentials. When she’s not teaching or treating patients, you can find her at a local CrossFit gym, cheering on the Tar Heels, and spending as much time as possible near any body of water.
